Gerrymandering is a powerful tool that has affected elections and silenced voices, especially those in marginalized communities. I don’t want to think about it, but this news means that we have to prepare for the worst – we have to be ready for the possibility of even more Republicans being elected to Congress. 

 

And in order to be ready for that to happen, we need to make sure that NY-09 has a strong voice fighting for the progressive side of history to unfold. We need a representative to advocate for working families, for a healthier climate, and more. 

 

That’s why we need to keep Yvette’s voice at the table. She has a proven track record of working with Republicans, moderates, and progressives in order to find common ground and create solutions. She gets things done.

 

So, can you chip in to her re-election campaign and ensure that we can send Yvette back to Congress in 2022 as the only Black woman in New York’s Congressional delegation? Her legislative experience and commitment to public service are what New York needs in 2022 and beyond.
