Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization: An Opportunity to Correct a Grave Error <[link removed]> – Roe v. Wade remains one of the most controversial judicial decisions in American history. After being told for 50 years that abortion is a constitutional “right,” most Americans still oppose most of the abortions that Roe made legal. Even the most creative legal scholars cannot identify Roe’s constitutional justification, and most have stopped trying. Roe’s abortion regime is far more permissive than the law in England or America ever provided, and lower courts have never been able consistently to discern and apply the Court’s subjective abortion decisions. Roe should never have been the basis of abortion policy in America; the Court should correct its error and overrule Roe v. Wade. Federal Employee Vaccine Mandate Could Result in
Thousands of Firings. Here’s What That Means for Government Functions. <[link removed]> –  In a complete disregard for what ordinarily constitute an excessive amount of protections for federal workers, the president’s vaccine mandate could allow federal employees—including the best,
the brightest, the longest-serving, and even those crucial to federal missions—to be disciplined or dismissed exclusively because they make a personal health decision to not get a COVID-19 vaccine. This means that the current administration could be directly responsible for firing more federal employees over the coming months than would ordinarily be fired over nearly two decades. The Left Suffers a Big Defeat in
Their Efforts to Damage Election Security <[link removed]> – The many cases of proven absentee ballot fraud make it clear to any reasonable, objective observer that mail-in ballots are susceptible to being stolen, altered, and forged. In fact, a 1998 report by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement concluded that the “lack of ‘in-person, at-the-polls’ accountability make absentee ballots the ‘tool of choice’ for those inclined to commit voter fraud.” Additionally, while states have bans on electioneering in polling places, there are no prohibitions on electioneering in voters’
homes. That makes voters vulnerable to intimidation and pressure by candidates, campaign staffers, political party activists, and political consultants. Despite this defeat, we expect liberals to work even harder to change the rules in ways that, regardless of their motives, will make it easier to cheat and easier to manipulate election results. Biden and Xi’s Scripted Summit Was More Talk than Action <[link removed]> – Many weeks of preparation and planning went into the virtual summit meeting between Joe Biden and Xi Jinping. But you wouldn’t have known that judging by the outcomes. It’s vital to get the China-U.S. relationship right. Failure to do so could end in a costly war. Viewed from that perspective, the summit really didn’t help. It may well have hurt. Heritage Expert: Brent Sadler <[link removed]>
