Friend, bad news.

Remember Ellie Mae? She’s the pig suffering from cancer. We didn’t raise enough to cover her medical treatment.

Now meet Sophie — another abused pig we rescued — and her situation is even MORE UGENT! Double your gift before MIDNIGHT.

Friend, if Sophie’s ears could talk…

First, someone hacked off huge pieces of Sophie’s ears to brand her forever as their breeding pig. 

Now her poor ears are riddled with so much cancer. After treatment, we’re worried there won’t be much left… and we’re ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE to fund her care!

Giving Tuesday Match: to save Sophie, Ellie Mae, and our other survivors that need cancer care, a generous donor just came forward to match every Giving Tuesday gift to help us meet our Cancer Fund goal. 

To unlock his gift — and save these sweet survivors — we MUST cover every dollar of our $15,000 Cancer Fund. 

For years, Sophie was probably confined to gestation crates without even room to turn around. 

Time after time, she gave birth to litters—and time after time, they were ripped away from her. 

Somehow, she made it out alive. But now she’s in trouble again.

In Big Ag settings, most pigs don’t live long enough to develop cancer. But in a place like Kindred Spirits, pigs can live happily for years. We just have to treat Sophie’s cancer before it spreads, metastasizes, or even kills her!

We rescued 34 pigs – and now 10 of them need immediate skin cancer care.

We have our own in-house vet and clinic, so that helps with some of the expenses. But that still leaves $$$ for other hard costs like anesthesia, diagnostic tests, and meds, and we only have this matching gift until midnight.
