Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has been under attack from her coworker, Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert. Boebert calls the Squad the “Jihad Squad,” and she’s called Omar a suicide bomber.

Boebert issued a non-apology, and then Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene quickly tweeted that nobody should apologize to the “Jihad Squad,” digging into the right’s bigoted slur.

This is absolutely despicable, Islamophobic behavior, and I stand against it. We need to defeat the GOP in 2022, kick out more Republicans, and get more progressives into office. If you can, please donate $3 now to help me do that.

The corporate Democratic establishment is poised to lose the House next year, because Joe Biden and the rest of the leadership have broken campaign promise after campaign promise. The way to beat the GOP is to offer real solutions to the American people, like universal healthcare, a universal basic income, a jobs guarantee, and student debt cancellation.
