Dear John,
At the end of this busy day we wanted to share one more reason we're so deeply committed to saving homeless animals. Because we think it's your reason, too.
Meet Duke.

|
Duke's 7, a been-through-a-lot-7 after his time on the street. He was found in October, a stray, wandering near Thurgood Marshall Public Library in Englewood. He has dental disease, a heart murmur, arthritis.
There are questions we ask when we meet a dog or cat like Duke. Is he hurt? Hungry? Sick? Scared?
One thing we never ask is whether he should live. We know you don't either.
|
|
Duke's right to live—our No Kill promise—fuels us during long days caring for thousands of Dukes, and humbling days when we're asking for your help.
We'll never give up on Duke, or any homeless pet in our care. They'll get everything they need. And they'll live as long, healthy and happy as possible.
As an animal lover, we ask you to stand with us today, to do what you can to protect and care for innocent pets who can't protect or care for themselves.

Every gift is the promise of a second chance to live.
