It's been a busy month, John.

This month, I voted to pass both the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and the Build Back Better Act. These two landmark pieces of legislation will rebuild our infrastructure, help working parents afford childcare, ensure seniors have access to the prescription drugs they need, grant tax credits for families who are struggling to get by, and combat climate change.

While House Democrats have been committed to delivering results for working families, Republicans are laser-focused on reclaiming the majority and rolling back our progress -- and the hard truth is that history is on their side.

The fight to protect the House majority isn't going to be easy. Republicans only need to pick up five seats to take back control of the House next year, and the party in power almost always loses more seats than that in midterm elections.

To build on the progress we've made, we need to protect the Democratic majority. I'm committed to fighting back by electing progressive Democrats nationwide, but I need your help.
