I know you’re not used to receiving emails from me this late, but this one is important.

As I sit at my computer scrolling through our fundraising numbers and drinking Vernors to keep me awake and motivated, I’m reminded of what’s at stake in this race.

But before I get into that, we only have a few hours left before our critical end-of-month goal expires and we still need to raise $2,847. Will you chip in $25 right now to help us close the gap?

You see, we have a real chance at winning our battleground race -- the one we won by 2.4 points in 2020 -- and making history by becoming the first Democrat to serve a third consecutive term in MI-11.

And if we succeed, we’ll help keep our Democratic House majority intact and continue making progress on the issues impacting Americans most. (Like we did by signing the historic infrastructure package into law and passing the Build Back Better Act in the House.)

But the problem is, the more I get done for Michiganders, the more of a target I become for national Republicans. The GOP will spend loads of money trying to unseat me so they can reclaim the House majority.

With climate change, women’s health, the economy, and so much more on the line, we can’t let that happen. We have to work together to defeat our Republican opponents.
