November 2021 Dear Friend,
With the coming of the holiday season, I’ve been reflecting upon all that I am thankful for this year. Beyond family, friends, and the blessing of the United States, I am truly thankful for the strength and vitality of America’s strategic alliance with Israel. The U.S.-Israel relationship has not only provided security for the world’s only Jewish state, but has produced many technological, economic, and security benefits that we enjoy both here in the U.S. and around the world. I write in my latest blog post about how, despite growing global challenges and uncertain times, the strong allyship, partnership, and friendship between the U.S. and Israel continues to bring not only material advancements that benefit all nations, but also increased chances of peace and prosperity for the entire world.
And yet, there remain a small group of anti-Israel voices that continue to shamelessly politicize our strategic alliance. Even worse, some of them enjoy the support of so-called “pro-Israel” organizations like J Street, which as I wrote about in another blog post, continues to endorse proposals to restrict or condition U.S. security assistance to Israel and actively fundraises for one of the most anti-Israel members in Congress.
Pro-Israel America continues to fight back against anti-Israel members of Congress and candidates. To date we have announced endorsements for 70 pro-Israel candidates for Congress. With your help, we are showing that being pro-Israel isn’t just good, commonsense policy, it’s good politics. This was clearly demonstrated in OH-11, where pro-Israel Democrat Shontel Brown officially won the district’s open-seat race this month, and in FL-20’s Democratic primary, where pro-BDS candidate Omari Hardy was soundly defeated.
This year, I’m thankful to have the opportunity to continue learning from pro-Israel members of Congress, like freshman Michigan Congressman Peter Meijer, who we recently hosted in a virtual meet-and-greet. I’m thankful for the overwhelming majority of members of Congress who understand that a strong U.S.-Israel relationship brings us all closer to peace. Most importantly, I’m thankful for you and your continued support for Pro-Israel America and our activities. Because of your involvement, we are able to send a strong message to the small but vocal group of anti-Israel members that their actions embolden terrorists across the world and will certainly not be tolerated.
We hope that you enjoy the holiday season year with those close to you. Please help us continue to grow and spread our pro-Israel message by sharing this email with your friends and family and asking them to join Pro-Israel America, too.
Best,
Jeff

Beyond family, friends and the blessings of the United States, I am thankful for the continued vibrancy of the U.S.-Israel relationship that produces tangible technological, economic, and security benefits for both countries. While the relationship faces challenges, this Thanksgiving let’s take a moment to reflect on the many benefits that flow from America’s strategic alliance and economic partnership with Israel." READ: Times of Israel – What Does it Mean to Be “Pro-Israel” in 2021? “At the most basic level, being “pro-Israel” means we believe that Israel should exist as a state that serves as the national homeland for the Jewish people… To be pro-Israel and pro-peace in 2021, we must support an Israel that is able to defend itself, because we know that a strong Israel means a safer, more secure, and more prosperous world for all. Efforts to condition or restrict security aid to Israel, promote a one-sided, “Two-State Solution” bill in the House, or actively fundraise for some of the most anti-Israel voices in Congress besmirches our ally, Israel, weakens global security, and emboldens terrorists. There is nothing “pro-Israel” or “pro-peace” about that.” READ MORE from PIA’s Executive Director Jeff Mendelsohn in his Times of Israel column. 🚨 ACTION ALERT 🚨 Tell the Senate to reject Senator Paul’s anti-Israel antics and pass critical Iron Dome Funding ASAP!
