Hey Voto Latino community,
Today is Giving Tuesday, and I’m thinking about causes close to my heart. Something I’m especially invested in -- literally -- is making sure Democrats come out strong after the midterms next year.
Our vote is our voice, and we’ve seen the difference we can make. Because we voted, we won the Senate, House of Representatives, and the White House in 2020. Now, we are making huge investments in issues that affect our communities like public transportation, clean water, and expanded access to high-speed internet. According to the White House, about a third of Latinos live within 3 miles of a Superfund site, and this year’s infrastructure bill will help to clean up the legacy of pollution. The jobs that are created will help the Latino community, since we were disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Looking ahead, there’s so much more to come with Build Back Better, including continuing monthly child payments and making health care and child care more affordable.
John, it’s so important that you vote, encourage your friends and family to vote, and -- if you can -- make a matched donation to help Voto Latino register more young people to vote.
If you contribute today, your donation will be matched, dollar for dollar. And if you can give $5 or more, you’ll receive a snazzy #LosVoters pin as a thank you -- you might even get a personal call from me, just to show how truly grateful I am for your support!

Voto Latino’s voter registration work is so crucial because young Latino voters can swing elections. We’ve seen it in states like Georgia and Arizona. And Voto Latino’s outreach strategy is proven to work. But don’t just take it from me -- data from 2020 (analyzed by an independent third party) shows that almost 80% of the Latinos registered turned out to vote, and more than 50% of those voters were voting for their very first time.
This is powerful, John -- this means Voto Latino knows how to motivate voters to action. And if we’re going to continue to hold our Democratic majorities in Congress in 2022, we’ll need to mobilize these voters again.
The cost of registering one Latinx voter is about $18 -- can you donate that amount, right now? And thanks to our limited-time matching program, your $18 will go twice as far.

Who knows -- maybe we’ll talk soon and I can tell you how personally thankful I am for your contribution!
Thank you,
Rosario Dawson
