John, we’re doing
something different today to honor Giving Tuesday.
For many organizations and nonprofits, Giving Tuesday is a hugely
important day. Often what is raised on Giving Tuesday determines a large
portion of a budget for the next fiscal year.
In past years, we’ve asked for donations to fund our organizing programs.
But this time around, we want to ask for your help to support a cause that
is close to our hearts at Women’s March this year.
Abortion access is under full-blown attack right now. All across the
country, anti-abortion extremists in states like Texas and Mississippi
have been enacting restrictive laws that have prevented and discouraged
thousands of us from receiving the reproductive health care we need.
