Dear John,
If you've been waiting for the best chance to achieve 2X the impact for #GivingTuesday, this is it.
#GivingTuesday ends in just hours. Your gift today can make 2X the IMPACT to advance our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
#GivingTuesday ends at midnight, and we have been challenged to raise $800,000 by a generous donor. They wish to remain anonymous and have pledged to match all gifts to the Alzheimer's Association — up to a total of $800,000 — if we can raise that same amount by December 31.
Their amazing gift will help to expand local health systems outreach, and train and support health care providers through Project ECHO to enable them to better understand Alzheimer's and all other dementia and make accurate and timely diagnoses.
Your gift can go 2X as far to help ensure that necessary care and support services keep going and to drive research that will move us closer to our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
Today, #GivingTuesday has grown to be America's national day of giving. In fact, it's become a global event. But it's still just as true that when each of us gives what we can to support the causes that matter most to us, we can make a powerful difference — together. That's the spirit of the Alzheimer's Association.
Perhaps you've spent today reflecting on this very special giving opportunity and thinking about the impact you want to achieve through your generosity.
But now there are only hours left before #GivingTuesday ends at midnight. And we still need your help to reach our $800,000 goal to expand and accelerate our vital work in the coming year. Please give now.

When people ask me why the fight against Alzheimer's is so important, I want them to know one thing: Alzheimer's is everywhere. It's destroying our families, our finances, and our future.
One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia. It kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined. And alarmingly, between 2000 and 2019, the number of deaths from Alzheimer's disease rose by 145%, while the number of deaths from heart disease decreased by 7.3%.
You understand how critical it is that we work together in this fight. On this #GivingTuesday, and while our $800,000 Match Challenge is going strong, please join with us by making a generous gift that can be matched 2X in impact up to a total of $800,000.
Today, on #GivingTuesday, make a gift of hope that can make a powerful difference for people in your town, your community, or even for a family member who may be living with Alzheimer's or caring for someone with the disease.
There's no better time for you to show that our fight matters to you. And your help is urgently needed.
Sincerely,
Donna McCullough
Chief Mission and Field Operations Officer
