Dear John,

I ran for Congress because my New Jersey community was struggling and the Republicans in Congress were only making life harder.

I saw climate change getting worse, families unable to find or afford quality child care, and the cost of healthcare and prescription drugs balloon. Instead of helping, Republicans raised taxes on the middle class to fund new handouts for billionaires.

When I flipped my seat in 2018, I promised to help fix these problems. When I defended my seat in 2020 by the narrowest margin of any Democrat in the country, I doubled down on my commitment to pass impactful legislation. Earlier this month, I was proud to cast my vote to pass the Build Back Better Act -- which will do just that. Now, national Republican donors are targeting me and some of my 2018 classmates.

Donate here to help me and other swing seat Democrats stay in office to protect our Build Back Better agenda.

Our Democratic majority passed the biggest climate change bill in history. We made child care affordable for all families and made pre-k universal to all three and four year olds.

And we lowered taxes on families -- delivering the largest tax credit to working parents ever -- by finally making the ultra-wealthy and big corporations pay their fair share.

If Republicans win next year, they will try to dismantle our agenda and undo the work we’ve done. We can’t let that happen.

Help us protect our progressive majority by chipping in $5 now.

This is our best chance to stop the climate crisis, lower the cost of living for families, and expand child care to millions of children.

With your help, we can make Build Back Better law and keep building our progressive majority in 2022.

Thank you for being a bold progressive!
