Last week, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) made a horrific, Islamophobic “joke” about her colleague, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) — and then refused to apologize for her disgraceful comments.

We have repeatedly seen that these so-called “jokes” only embolden dangerous white nationalists to take violent action. And Boebert’s comments follow another Republican member of Congress implicitly calling for violence against a Democratic colleague. This has to stop!

We must send a strong message that violent rhetoric is unacceptable from anyone, especially a member of Congress. So add your name to our petition right away to tell the U.S. House of Representatives to censure Rep. Lauren Boebert and strip her of committee assignments!
