You’ve been assigned a representative to pressure based on where you live - now it’s time to send them a message on Twitter.

National Nurses United

As you may have seen, you’ve been assigned a priority representative based on where you live!

Map of the USA

There are four representatives in Congress who are holding out on co-sponsoring this year’s Medicare for All bill – even though they’ve previously sponsored Medicare for All legislation in the past! 🤔

We know that more pressure is needed to convince them to finally sign on, and that’s where you come in. Last week, we asked everyone to send letters to their rep’s office – and thousands of supporters stepped up.

Now we’re asking if you can take the next step and send a message on Twitter to your assigned rep. If you click the link here, a tweet will open up targeting Rep. Sires along with a photo of a projection near his office with our message.

Many conversations about politics happen online, specifically on Twitter. Every representative has dedicated staff who monitor social media, which makes it an effective way to not only get their attention, but also spread the word about our campaign at the same time.

We know it will take more than just social media pressure to win, which is why we’re also organizing on the ground through local media, car caravans, postcards to constituents, and projections as seen in the photos above.

We need to be generating pressure on all fronts. When their offices see hundreds of tweets in one day, it will send a strong and loud signal that we are organized and coordinated across the country.

Please send a message to Rep. Albio Sires on Twitter right now urging him to sign on again as a Medicare for All cosponsor.

We’re excited to see all your messages.

P.S. If you’re not on Twitter, please forward this email to five friends to help us spread the word!
