Republican extremist Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) is laying out the groundwork for the GOP to take control of the House and is casting doubt on who she’d support for House Speaker, leading some to believe she wants to throw her hat in the ring. We can’t let that happen.

MTG has a list of demands for Republicans in order for them to earn her House Speaker vote. As a MAGA Republican and Trump loyalist, she stated she was opposed to Kevin McCarthy as Speaker for not being conservative enough.

She also wants several other moderate Republicans removed from different House committees because they were brave enough to stand up for our democracy and serve on the January 6 committee.

We know Trump is desperate to run for president again, which means we have to prevent MTG and others from rising to power in the GOP. There’s no doubt she and others would exploit their positions to benefit the twice-impeached former president.

We can’t let these extremists -- who helped incite an insurrection, deny climate change, and cater to Trump’s agenda -- be in positions of power and influence.
