This year, Giving Tuesday falls on a very important date.

For my entire career, I’ve been focused on protecting our most fundamental rights and liberties—from marriage equality, to reproductive rights and justice, to the legal recognition of caregiving.

In just 24 hours, the Supreme Court will take up a direct challenge to our constitutionally guaranteed right to abortion. Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization will decide the legality of a Mississippi law that bans almost all abortions in direct conflict with 50 years of Supreme Court precedent. Mississippi is asking the Supreme Court to overturn Roe and eliminate the constitutional right to abortion. This Giving Tuesday is such a critical moment for the Law Center, so we’ve set an aggressive fundraising goal of $50,000 by midnight tonight.
