Dear John,

I wanted to make sure you saw Melissa’s previous note. I really cannot stress enough how truly important this year’s Giving Tuesday is.
Once the clock strikes 12 tonight, Giving Tuesday ends and December begins. The first thing on the Supreme Court’s docket? Oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization , a direct challenge to the constitutional right to abortion guaranteed by Roe v. Wade.
This is the most critical moment for abortion rights since 1973. When we close the books on Giving Tuesday 2021, I hope you’ll add your donation for gender justice, John. On the eve of this pivotal case, your gift can be matched up to $25,000 before midnight!

Your donation fuels the work ahead. As always, thank you.

In solidarity,
Fatima Goss Graves

Dear John,

This year, Giving Tuesday falls on a very important date.

For my entire career, I’ve been focused on protecting our most fundamental rights and liberties—from marriage equality, to reproductive rights and justice, to the legal recognition of caregiving.

In just 24 hours, the Supreme Court will take up a direct challenge to our constitutionally guaranteed right to abortion. Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization will decide the legality of a Mississippi law that bans almost all abortions in direct conflict with 50 years of Supreme Court precedent. Mississippi is asking the Supreme Court to overturn Roe and eliminate the constitutional right to abortion. This Giving Tuesday is such a critical moment for the Law Center, so we’ve set an aggressive fundraising goal of $50,000 by midnight tonight. The first $25,000 will be MATCHED by a generous group of donors. Pitch in now to have your gift doubled during this especially critical time. [[link removed]]

The case that SCOTUS will hear tomorrow has the potential to catastrophically reverse decades of progress for individual rights.
I sit on the board of the National Women’s Law Center, and I know this is one of the most critical challenges the movement for gender justice has ever faced.

I hope you’ll join me in supporting the Law Center with a gift today, on Giving Tuesday, to help us reach our goal of $50,000 to fuel the movement. A generous group of donors will match the first $25,000 contributed today. [[link removed]]

The Law Center is going to keep fighting to improve conditions for women and their families, no matter what happens. Our gender justice fights—protecting abortion access, fighting for transgender kids, ensuring accessible and affordable child care and health coverage, protecting workers and students from sexual harassment and assault and pregnancy discrimination—are far from over.

I’m proud to support the Law Center. We’ve set a goal to raise $50,000 this Giving Tuesday, and with your support and the support of this community, I know we will get there.

Pitch in to have your gift doubled up to $25,000 during this especially critical time. [[link removed]]

There’s no time to wait. I’m so grateful to be in this fight with you, John.

Forever in awe of this community. Thank you.
