John,
In a moment, I’m going to ask you for a donation to our grassroots campaign. But first, let me explain why this race is so important.
Here’s the thing: Republican Claudia Tenney has been taking money from special interests and lining her own pockets with it. Then she goes to Washington and votes for those same special interests instead of delivering results for working families.
I’m running for Congress, as a new voice, because I believe the people of NY-22 deserve better.
I’m not a politician, and this is my first time running for office. I'm doing it because I believe we need to get past the petty divisions and trivial distractions in Congress and start working together to meet today’s challenges with the urgency they demand. I’m not accepting any corporate PAC money in this campaign, and I’ll always remember that the purpose of public service is to serve the public, not to enrich oneself. With grassroots support, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.
But I can’t do it alone. This campaign is a team effort, and I need your help.
Will you rush a donation before tonight’s end-of-month fundraising deadline? Every dollar brings us closer to our goal →

I promise to always fight for families like the one I grew up in. Together, we’ll bring new jobs and new opportunities to working families in Upstate New York.
With gratitude and high hopes,
Josh Riley
