Coalitions Rising Registration Now Open
Join us for this year’s virtual Coalitions Rising Conference. The three-day event will feature presentations from state and national prevention experts and will examine various behavioral health concerns, their intersectionality, and how coalitions across the state can build capacity to address them.

Registration is free and open to anyone and will include continuing education units for prevention professionals approved by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.

Prevention continues to evolve as new models, programs, research, and evidence come to light. We have to understand how these changes impact the work we do, how we communicate successes to our community, and so much more. Our expert presenters will help coalition leaders and other prevention professionals learn strategies, engage in thoughtful discussions, and explore the intersectionality of prevention together at Coalitions Rising.
Next Meeting: December 8
The next SPCA meeting will take place virtually, December 8th, at 10 a.m. The meeting will provide updates from state partners and Prevention Action Alliance. We also have Keynote: Catherine Thatcher Brunson, from CADCA, discussing how coalitions can identify new partners within their community, intentionally target new members that have expertise in adjacent areas, and how to frame their existing work in a new light to bring awareness to other issues.

In addition, we will be making a push for membership renewal for the new fiscal year. Please come with any questions about membership or the renewal process.
