2021 was the year we started the fight for a just recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. We fought for - and won - a statewide rental assistance program to help California renters struggling to pay their rent. We've won major policy victories expanding tenant protections in San Diego and Los Angeles. And we've won important budget battles in Oakland and Contra Costa County.
But we're only just getting started, and next year we'll be taking the fight for housing justice to another level.

2021 fue el año en que comenzamos la lucha por una recuperación justa de la pandemia de COVID-19. Luchamos por, y ganamos, un programa estatal de asistencia para ayudar a los inquilinos de California que se esfuerzan para alcanzar pagar la renta. Hemos obtenido importantes victorias ampliando las protecciones para los inquilinos en San Diego y Los Ángeles. Y hemos ganado importantes batallas presupuestarias en Oakland y el condado de Contra Costa.
Pero apenas estamos comenzando, y el próximo año llevaremos la lucha por la justicia de la vivienda a otro nivel.
