Dear ,

I wanted you to be one of the first to know about an exciting new
season of my podcast, The Soul of the Nation, featuring a series
of conversations with 2020 presidential candidates in which we
discuss moral questions at the intersection of faith and
politics.

We launched the new season this week with a powerful conversation
I had with Senator Cory Booker.

LISTEN TO MY CONVERSATION WITH SENATOR CORY BOOKER NOW

Opening up a conversation about faith and public life from many
religious perspectives will help dispel the myth that the right
owns religion--no one does. The upcoming presidential election
is an election about moral choices.

Even Christians who claim they are "not political" will still
make a choice to vote for or against the status quo.

From unapologetically faith expressive candidates to candidates
who haven't talked about their faith at all, this podcast is a
home for rich conversations about the role of religion in 2020.
In addressing poverty, combatting racism, solving the climate
crisis, protecting human dignity or leading with personal
integrity, how does faith inform the moral leadership our
electorate is desperately seeking?

Listen my conversation with Senator Booker to hear his thoughts
on this and other questions.

You can find the podcast at this link, or you can subscribe to
The Soul of the Nation for free wherever you get your podcasts.
In the coming weeks, additional episodes with other 2020
presidential candidates will be released on Wednesdays.

In Christ,

P.S. These conversations explore many of themes I discuss in my
new book, CHRIST IN CRISIS: WHY WE NEED TO RECLAIM JESUS. For
