It’s Giving Tuesday, and if you haven’t already guessed, we’re going to

you’re getting a lot of emails today, so we’ll be brief.

This year has been a rollercoaster ride of legislative advocacy fights.
From the American Rescue Plan and ongoing Build Back Better advocacy to
kickstart recovery from the COVID-19 crisis, to building momentum for D.C.
statehood, to our battle for expanded voting rights and democracy reform,
we’ve been busy all year long.

The truth is, many of these fights have lasted a lot longer than we’d
hoped they would. We’re still hard at work to ensure Build Back Better
passes the Senate as quickly as possible, so we can turn our attention
back to fixing our democracy before it’s too late. And with all this going
on, we’re falling behind on our fundraising goals. Members of Congress,
activists, and donors alike will be turning their attention to electoral
politics in just a few short months, so we have to leave it all on the
field right now and win as much as we can as quickly as possible.

Grassroots donors -- that’s people like you, giving an average of just
$21.70 -- are our single largest source of funding. That means your
support is crucial to building the massive movement it takes to win by
driving thousands of constituent phone calls, helping plan hundreds of
in-district events and rallies, developing smart strategic policy
guidance, and more.
