Today is the final day of our end-of-month fundraising push to raise an additional $20,000 over email to support our efforts to keep Jamaal in Congress come 2022. If you are able, please help us close our $9,745 gap before midnight tonight so we can kick off December — and our race toward the primary in June of next year! — strong.
John, as you may have heard, redistricting makes the road ahead for this campaign incredibly uncertain. Add a right-wing primary challenger into the mix, and you have the makings of what's already shaping up to be a difficult re-election fight.
Here's the thing: We can overcome these challenges with people power. As Organizing Manager, one of the most important aspects of my job is to find ways to use our grassroots power to mobilize, organize, and energize our base.
As we look toward next year, we're already starting to lay the groundwork to train volunteers, identify volunteer leaders, secure digital tools, and build a field plan that can meet the moment of a vigorous primary election.
But all of those efforts require serious resources, which is why I'm asking: Can you rush a donation toward our $20,000 end-of-month goal so we can keep planning for the future ahead? Our movement can't afford to fall short.
