We know you’re getting a lot of requests today, but the board and staff of California Environmental Voters (formerly the California League of Conservation Voters) would be honored for you to make us part of your Giving Tuesday plans:

1. In California, we’re already experiencing the devastating impacts of the climate crisis.  2022 is a pivotal opportunity for government action on climate.
2. That means that we need to hit the ground running in January to work with our elected leaders to finalize the 2022 climate agenda.
3. We need the support from our community of contributors to launch these efforts in the new year.

We are seeing the horrific impact of climate change right here in California almost on a daily basis. From wildfires to oil spills, these events are destroying communities and threatening our air, water, and land.

With the stakes higher than ever before, we need 50% of our grassroots supporters to donate this season. Please contribute today, on Giving Tuesday, and help us reach our goal. Can we count on your support?

California Environmental Voters is California's voice for bold climate action. We elect and cultivate environmental champions, turn election victories into policy wins, hold our lawmakers accountable, and build political power to transform our political system and achieve climate justice.

And today, we’re asking you for a special gift towards our mission because we can’t afford to allow our elected leaders to delay the changes our communities desperately need.

What we do at this very moment has the potential to change the course of history and impact generations to come. We have an opportunity to lead by example by forging ahead on innovative climate action that will leave no one behind. We have the solutions to stop climate change, but our leaders lack the political will to do it at the rate and scale needed. We need to elect bold, transformational, and intersectional leaders to pass the critical climate legislation we so desperately need.
