You may remember hearing about Serena last December. Her life was derailed when, at age 13, a boyfriend coerced her into sending him a nude video of herself.

The video ended up on Pornhub and Serena contacted them to remove it, but for six years the video continued to be shared, racking up millions of views.

Traumatized, Serena dropped out of school, became addicted to drugs, and attempted suicide.

Her story was made public in an explosive New York Times op-ed. Exodus Cry organized a GoFundMe to assist Serena, after which she was able to get off the streets and buy her own house.

A generous donor also pledged to pay for her schooling to help fulfill her dream of becoming a veterinarian.

For the past year, Exodus Cry has covered the cost of specialized trauma therapy, which has been an essential part of her healing journey.

"I have spoken to a lot of therapists/counselors and never felt like any of them really cared about what I was saying—until I started talking to my new therapist. She is freaking amazing... She has by far helped me the most. Speaking to her each week and knowing there is someone out there with compassion, based on an educated understanding, really helps me get through my days..." -Serena

Along with Serena, Exodus Cry has been covering the cost of transformative therapy for other victims of trafficking exploited on Pornhub, and they continue to share with us the life-changing impact it's having on them.
