With everything our world, our country, and our LGBTQ+ community have endured in 2021, I want to take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for all the ways you supported us during a year of such grief.

Like many, we’re looking forward to a new year. With you by our side, we’re excited for what’s to come.

Equality Federation is planning for big things in 2022, like helping create dedicated HIV programming in the states, implementation of the Older Americans Act, budget advocacy, sex work decriminalization, comprehensive sex education, and so much more.

We also know our work to stop anti-trans attacks is not over, and we’ll see more anti-LGBTQ+ bills next year. We’re gearing up to deepen our support for state partners actively fighting against anti-transgender bills during the 2022 legislative session. That means more calls. More organizing. More resources to stop these anti-trans attacks going directly to the states that need them.

We’re excited to build out these new initiatives all while continuing to provide our ongoing legislative support, Executive Director coaching, role-specific cohorts, annual Leadership Conference, and networking opportunities.

When we can come together, work together, support each other - that is where this movement’s resilience lies. Today, on Giving Tuesday, we come together to show our commitment to fight for, and protect, the most marginalized in our community.
