Hi, John — I’m reaching out with bad news about Brady’s $125,000 Giving Tuesday goal. Right now, Brady is still short of their goal for the most important fundraising day of the entire year.

But the good news is that I've seen this community rally behind Brady before, and I know that if you step up now, we can close this gap in time and save lives — especially with EVERY donation being matched dollar for dollar between now and midnight.

As a gun violence survivor and gun safety advocate, I’m asking you to make a donation of any amount to double your impact, because Brady’s work in the coming year will be imperative to making sure we can seize this moment to prevent future gun violence and save lives – because my Jaime wasn’t saved and no family deserves to feel that pain.

Trust me when I say: Brady is doing everything it takes to save lives, end gun violence, and hold accountable any "leader" who fails or refuses to take action. But they can't continue that work if they fall short of this critical Giving Tuesday goal — so please, before midnight, will you give as much as you can spare and have it DOUBLED to end gun violence and save lives?

Ever since my daughter Jaime was murdered during the 2018 Parkland massacre, I've dedicated my life to making sure no parent or family has to carry the loss that I do. It's hard to put into words what it feels like to know that I won’t ever get to hold Jaime in my arms and tell her I love her again. But what I can do is fight every single day to help Brady prevent the next tragedy.

I'm asking for your gift today because I have hope that we'll hit this Giving Tuesday fundraising goal, DEFEAT the NRA and their bought-and-paid-for politicians, and build a better future that is free from gun violence.

We've worked so hard to get to this moment – and we're on the precipice of change. Now, heading into 2022, we have to keep fighting to defend our gun safety majorities and pass real legislation — and hold accountable spineless NRA politicians like Marco Rubio, who sat on his hands and did nothing after Jaime and 16 other students and teachers were murdered in his state.

I know we can do more, John. But only if we hit this goal. Giving Tuesday is the most important fundraising day of the year for Brady, and as a grassroots organization, they rely on donations from people like you — so how much they raise today determines how much they can do tomorrow, and right now, every donation is being DOUBLED. So please:

Will you rush $5 or more now to DOUBLE your impact on Brady's work to pass lifesaving gun safety laws and overcome the shameful inaction of NRA-backed politicians? Every dollar Brady raises today will help prevent more tragedies like Parkland — and ensure no family ever has to feel the loss I do every day.

Each of us can power this movement, but if we're going to finally overcome the gun lobby, we need you fighting by our side. I hope you’ll join us and make a donation to this fight today.

Thank you.
