According to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, the amount of fish in the world’s Ocean has dropped by half over the past 50 years, with some fish populations – such as species of tuna and mackerel – falling by 75%. Several species of sharks in the Atlantic Ocean have been reduced by 90%. According to one study, fishers today catch just 6% of what they did 120 years ago.

Sea Shepherd is here to protect our Ocean’s marine life, much of which is on the verge of extension.  We are a global movement organization, partnering with governments around the world, dedicated to saving the Ocean from plunder and destruction.
