Over the last few weeks, I’ve written plenty of emails to let you know about the actions days we’ve been running in the Old Bexley and Sidcup and latterly the North Shropshire by-elections.

Polling day in Old Bexley and Sidcup is this Thursday and the mood on the ground is incredibly positive. With an amazing team, we have knocked on the door of every voter in the constituency and we’re more hopeful than ever of securing a strong result.

To make sure we get our voters to the polling station though we need as many people as possible to help on Thursday. We have doors to knock, polling stations to stand on (very warm beanie hats provided for this) and wavering voters still to talk to. If you can spare any time helping me this Thursday then please let us know by emailing [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) .

Come Saturday, our focus will switch entirely to North Shropshire. Our candidate, Kirsty Walmsley, is everything that a by-election candidate should be. Local, passionate, knowledgeable and of the highest moral calibre. I’ve already been out canvassing with Kirsty and have seen first-hand just how well-known and popular she is in a constituency that she was born in, grew up in, schooled in and is now raising her own family in.

Kirsty is the strongest candidate running in North Shropshire and I’m asking everybody to do what they can to help maximise the potential of her campaign.

You can do that by joining our day of campaigning this Saturday, kicking off at 11am and meeting at the Wynnstay Hotel, Church St, Oswestry SY11 2SZ

Having risen yet again in the polls over the weekend, one thing is starting to become very apparent to everybody. There is only one party now positioned to really take on the establishment in Westminster – and that’s Reform UK. Not only are we standing in numerous Westminster by-elections, we’re standing in council by-elections too and are committed to standing in every constituency in England, Scotland and Wales at the next General Election.

As I’ve said before, our ability to function and succeed as we are doing depends on you and your generosity. We don’t have multi-million pound donations from big business like the Tories and we don’t have money given to us by unions like Labour.

What we do have, which we’re all so grateful for, is our membership. Even a small donation can go a long way when it’s used properly, and these by-elections will only be successful if we can spend big! We still have over two weeks to go until polling day in Shropshire with plenty still to pay for so please, give whatever you can and help us to send that message to Messrs Johnson and Starmer! With your help they won’t have a choice but to hear it.
