For one day each year, the Center for Democracy & Technology (CDT) asks for a few more minutes in your inbox than normal. We don’t want you to miss the opportunity to participate in #GivingTuesday, and we hope you’ll consider offering your support to us this year.

We have spent the year focused on democracy across the globe — and we’re not the only ones. As the Biden Administration prepares to host the Summit for Democracy, CDT is continuing our work to ensure that technology policy is at the center of foreign policy.

Our work depends on you. We hope you’ll donate to CDT this #GivingTuesday ([link removed]). Whether it's $10, $25, $50, or more, your support is appreciated now more than ever.

To uphold democracy in our digital age, it is critical to protect freedom of expression online. Authoritarian governments around the world are cracking down on online access, blocking social media platforms, and in extreme cases, shutting down internet services completely. We are fighting against this, and urging policymakers and companies to do the same.

You can help continue this work. Join us by donating this #GivingTuesday ([link removed]).

Together, we can put civil rights and civil liberties at the center of the digital age.

Sincerely,
Alexandra Reeve Givens
