[1]Beto O'Rourke
Hi, John — it's
Kate.
I wanted to send you a message ahead of our first end-of-month deadline
since Beto announced his run for governor tonight at midnight. [ [link removed] ]We're
currently 18% short of our $200,000 goal. Would you be able to donate
$3 or more right now to help power Beto's campaign to be the
next governor of Texas?
We've been reminded over the past year how badly we need new leadership in
Texas. Whether it was Greg Abbott's failure to keep the lights and heat on
during February's winter storm, his attack on voting rights, or his ban of
nearly all abortions, Abbott has failed Texans again and again.
Beto's in this race because he believes it's time Texans had a leader that
represented their interests. But we all need to do everything in our power
to change the dangerous and divisive direction our state is heading in.
Beto is ready to be a leader for all Texans, but the first step to
defeating Abbott will be raising the grassroots resources to go toe-to-toe
with his mega-donors. [ [link removed] ]Please,
John, will you chip in
$3 or more to help hit our $200,000 goal by midnight
tonight?

Every day I'm struck by the energy and dedication of this movement. Since
launching our campaign, Beto has been on the road across Texas and at each
stop, the energy has been contagious.
To win this race, we'll need to stay on the road meeting as many folks as
possible and mobilizing voters across the state. But to do so requires a
tremendous amount of infrastructure and money, so I have to ask just one
last time:
[ [link removed] ]Please, will you contribute $3 or more to fill up the
gas tank and keep Beto on the road meeting folks across Texas?
Let's do this,
Kate Roberts
