Support from donors like you is what makes work for stronger, more vibrant communities across the South possible.

Friends –

If your inbox is anything like mine, I imagine it’s quickly filling up with emails about Giving Tuesday, the only global day of giving to worthy causes and the kick-off to a reflective end-of-year holiday season focused on lifting up the many ways that we can all take action to make our communities better places.

I enjoy Giving Tuesday because I love hearing from organizations close to my heart who are working hard to improve their communities. And at the Campaign for Southern Equality, we’re honored each year to partner with organizations doing transformative organizing. Groups like Prism United ([link removed]) in Alabama, which just wrapped up a first-of-its-kind storytelling campaign about queer youth; or BeLoved Asheville ([link removed]) , which supports folks here in my hometown struggling with food or housing insecurity; or local abortion funds that are bracing for whatever happens in the major U.S. Supreme Court case being heard tomorrow.

Today I encourage you to give a read to the emails in your inbox. Hear the stories of advocates and activists doing their best to show up for marginalized communities. Research other groups in your own area who are making an impact. And then, if you’re able, make a donation (or several donations) to fuel this work.

Our team at the Campaign for Southern Equality would be honored to be among the organizations you support this Giving Tuesday! If you’re able to chip in $10, $5, or whatever you can, please consider making a donation to CSE. Click here to give. ([link removed])

On behalf of the Campaign for Southern Equality and our many grassroots partners, thank you for what you’re doing this Giving Tuesday and beyond. Your support – whether in getting involved in a legislative process, lifting up your fellow community members, or donating funds to a cause you care about – is invaluable.
