The work we do at the Treatment Advocacy Center is hard and often complicated, but we will never waver from our mission to eliminate barriers to treatment for people with severe mental illness.
The Treatment Advocacy Center staff spends every day:
- Improving laws,
- Informing policy makers,
- Educating the media on the need for reform and the consequences of failing to treat severe mental illness
- Working with communities to implement quality treatment programs, and
- Conducting impactful research that illustrates the need for change
