Dear Friend,

If you’re like most seniors, your Social Security check doesn’t begin to go far enough and you or someone you love is having trouble paying for their prescription drugs.

With an average monthly benefit of just $1,354, too many Social Security beneficiaries have to make tough decisions every month about which bills to pay now, and which bills to put off until next month.

That’s why on this Giving Tuesday, I’m asking you to support our work to pass the Social Security 2100 Act: A Sacred Trust, H.R. 5723. This historic legislation will:
  • Increase your Social Security income, with bigger checks every month.
  • Improve your annual cost of living increases and help you keep up with rising costs of day-to-day life.
  • Make the wealthiest Americans finally pay their fair share into the Social Security system.

We can’t get this done without you. That’s why I’m asking you to do your part to get this legislation passed.

Please contribute to our campaign now.

The sooner we can get Congress to pass the Social Security 2100 Act, the sooner you can start collecting bigger Social Security checks.

To make this happen, we’re turning up the heat on Congress: 194 members of the House of Representatives have already co-sponsored the Social Security 2100 Act.

But we won’t let up.

We need to make sure every Senator and Representative knows that retirees are struggling to make ends meet.

The fact is, one dollar of today’s Social Security benefit is worth just $0.66 compared to what it was worth in 2000. At the same time, the typical expenses of people over 65 have risen by almost 100%.

This can’t go on.

Please support our campaign to pass the Social Security 2100 Act: A Sacred Trust right now.

We’re mobilizing all 4.4 million Alliance members for this fight. I hope I can count you among them. Together, we will get this done.

Sincerely,

Richard J. Fiesta
