It's #GivingTuesday!

We know you have a lot of choices with where to donate your hard earned dollars. With racial and economic inequities only highlighted during the pandemic, there is incredible need in our communities. 

Today, the National Coalition for the Homeless is working on the Bring America Home NOW campaign, a comprehensive, multi-agency, grassroots campaign to end homelessness in the United States.

Led by people who have themselves experienced homelessness, we focus on the passage of federal legislation aimed at addressing the interconnected solutions to the decades-long epidemic of homelessness.

For too long (40 years!!) we have accepted temporary solutions to structural and racist housing and income inequities that were created purposefully by our government's policies.

We are grateful for your support, and deeply appreciate anything you are able to give today on #GivingTuesday!

The “Build Back Better Act,” an historic economic recovery package that includes more than $150 billion in affordable housing investments, has been passed by the US House of Representatives and now needs to passed by the Senate.

Like the Bring America Home Now campaign, this legislation forwards comprehensive anti-poverty measures and, if enacted into law, would significantly impact our efforts to address the epidemic of homelessness in the United States.
