It’s true – Giving Tuesday (or as we like to call it, Giving News Day) is here again. And, on the heels of last week’s Thanksgiving holiday, we’re so grateful for the opportunity to spotlight Hechinger’s education journalism efforts.

Our issue-based, investigative, and truth-seeking reporting is all in service of our readers. We are sustained by the feedback we receive on how our reporting is making a difference and why it’s so important. Here are a few comments made by long-time readers but first-time donors:

And while hearing from our readers is incredibly rewarding, it doesn’t pay for our reporting – not the travel nor the editing or the production that’s required to produce our award-winning (and free to read) journalism.
