Dear John,

As a program manager at New American Leaders (NAL), I inspire community advocates to run for office and lead campaigns. It is my honor to help young rising leaders embrace their immigrant heritage as a leadership asset and take their first steps to run, win, and lead.

This work is difficult, but incredibly rewarding. It takes a lot of convincing to get aspiring New American leaders to believe they can run and win. That’s where the NAL team comes in! We are here to help potential candidates identify the right office to run for, fine-tune their stump speeches, and work on campaign messaging. 

For the next New American candidates to be successful, we need to organize more than our communities. We need to organize our resources for the movement. Donating to NAL will support NAL alumni as they face xenophobic attacks, whisper campaigns, and difficulty raising campaign funds in the face of extremist groups underwriting white supremacist and anti-democratic agendas.
