Mary is a 58-year-old grandmother from rural Migori, Kenya. As temperatures rise due to the climate crisis, trees are disappearing and the land is becoming more infertile. She told us:

"There are times when the dry season is so long and I end up with no harvest at the end of the season. When there's drought, the crops dry, and when there's heavy rainfall, the crops are washed away."

As Community Health Officer for Send a Cow Kenya, over the years I’ve seen the devastating impact this has had on communities. Families like Mary’s can't grow enough food and are being forced deeper into hunger and poverty. But with your support, and life-changing trees, there is hope.
