Happy #GivingTuesday! Today marks a worldwide day of philanthropy, giving back, and paying it forward. Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good.

Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. We are excited that Muslim Americans across the country just like you are a major part of this international movement! 

That is why we are asking you to chip in right now to support our work. Today, our goal is to raise $10,000 to promote Muslim American civic engagement. As part of the team at Emgage, I can tell you that we work hard to empower our Muslim American community at every level. Through our Get out the Vote programs, educational programs, and more, our number one priority is the Muslim American community. With your support today, we can continue our work to increase American Muslim voter participation and ensure that our community stays engaged at every level of the civic process.

Last year's Giving Tuesday raised more than 2.47 billion dollars for nonprofit organizations from more than 34 million contributors across the globe. This year, both of those records are set to be broken, and we want you to join us in this effort!
