Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. I kindly ask that during this day of giving, you remember EARTHDAY‍.ORG.

Together with over 150,000 partner organizations and millions of individuals worldwide, including you, we are working tirelessly to diversify, educate, and activate the environmental movement to create a just and sustainable future.

With the support of people like you, we are working to:

• Make meaningful, assessed climate and environmental education a compulsory part of K-12 schooling worldwide
• Reforest vulnerable communities and turn back the clock on climate change
• End plastic pollution and encourage individuals to clean up the world through community cleanups
• Transform our food system by educating on the benefits of plant-based diets and advancing regenerative agriculture
• Allow everyone to participate in climate science through the Global Earth Challenge
