Dear friend,

The past 20 months have been hard for all of us. It has made me appreciate things I sometimes took for granted: time with family, dinner with friends and even just going wherever I wanted.

It has also made me focus even more than I already did on my health and making sure I am doing everything I can to protect myself and my family.

That is why I am grateful for EWG this Giving Tuesday – I know I can count on them to guide me when it comes to knowing about the toxic chemicals in our food, water and products.

They always put our health first, and we need a lot more of that right now.

I first came to EWG when I became a mother. Like most new moms, I encountered misleading and contradictory advice when it came to making decisions for my kids’ health, often leaving me to wonder: Is there anybody out there who will tell me the truth?

The answer was EWG.

During the pandemic, I have turned to EWG again and again. We need EWG’s strict standards – that’s how we can be sure we’re protecting our health.

Whether it’s their work on PFAS chemicals, the Skin Deep® cosmetics database, the Shopper’s Guide to Pesticides in Produce™ or the Guide to Healthy Cleaning, EWG gives us the tools we need to make the best, healthiest decisions for ourselves and our families.
