Urging Members of Congress to co-sponsor the FSRA. The Farm System Reform Act (FSRA) is a bold, transformational legislation that would ban factory farms and build a more sustainable and equitable food system. Food & Water Action is fighting to get the bill passed and signed into law.
Urging Members of Congress to support federal legislation to enact a moratorium on mergers and acquisitions in the food and agricultural industries. Allowing additional food and agriculture mergers to proceed will only increase the consolidation which results in decreased income for farmers and higher grocery prices, less choice and unsafe food for consumers.
Urging Members of Congress to co-sponsor the WATER Act. The WATER Act is a comprehensive approach to improving our water systems and will help ensure that every person has access to safe, clean and publicly-controlled water in the United States.
In 2022 we’ll be pushing forward our proven strategies to mobilize people to protect our food, water and climate. Strategic, collective action works! This is why we not only work directly with people in their communities, but also in the courts and in the halls of Congress, fighting for real solutions.
