Faced with innumerable odds – a massive, multi-billion dollar addiction-for-profit industry against us, and few, if any, other organizations singularly focused and funded to take them on systematically – we are a little team with a big bite.
It won’t make headlines, but we have stopped eighteen pot legalization bills this year, produced the most comprehensive report on marijuana outcomes to date, published an Amazon best-seller book, passed first-of-its-kind regulatory legislation to restrict the marijuana industry in Colorado, spoke with tech and business giants one on one about the harms of this industry, overturned the 2020 ballot initiative legalizing recreational marijuana in South Dakota, assisted researchers in developing a parental education program, launched successful TikTok and Instagram pages, and had the Biden Administration implement some of our research recommendations.
