News from CPAG

CHILDREN AT THE HEART OF THE ELECTION
This election period, we want all candidates from all parties to make a
commitment to tackle child poverty. We've put together the big things we're
calling for from the next government in a manifesto
[[link removed]] . We want the next government to invest in children's benefits, bring in a
child poverty strategy and build a more effective social security system for us
all.

We'll be asking you to help us campaign when all the candidates have been
announced, but in the meantime, please share our manifesto and talk to your
friends about why all the parties must commit to tackling child poverty.

CELEBRATING OUR FUNDRAISERS
A huge thank you to Amy Ertan who took on a Spartan half marathon in early
October for CPAG. The epic challenge took her over 5 hours to complete and saw
her wading through mud, lifting 60kg bags of concrete and scaling inverted
walls. With matched funding from her employer, Amy has raised an incredible
£1,240!
