Americans seniors are being targeted by robocall scammers in record numbers. Often these calls are manipulated to look like they're coming from a government agency, a service the recipient uses, or even a family member in trouble. This has to stop.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed bipartisan legislation to combat malicious, scam robocalls. The legislation that would:

  • require callers to use caller I.D.;
  • require any evidence of illegal robocalls to be sent to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution;
  • and increase the penalty on scam robocalls to $10,000 per violation.

Now it's the Senate's turn. Join me in urging the Senate to pass our legislation and stop the scam robocalls.
