In 2020, Texas progressive champ Jessica Cisneros nearly defeated Henry Cuellar, Congress's most conservative "Democrat." Our movement was proud to support her then, helping bring her just 2,000 votes from victory. Now she's back to finish what she started and we couldn't be more excited to seal the deal together!
In order to make sure TX-28 gets the Congressional representation it deserves, we’re setting a goal of making 100,000 calls for Jessica Cisneros in the month of December. How are we going to get there? By launching recurring phone banks every Sunday and Wednesday to reach as many voters as possible!
Running any race requires a lot of resources and hard work to pull off — and unlike Henry Cuellar, Jessica doesn't have corporate donors or super PACs with unlimited funds bankrolling her campaign.
Calling voters in TX-28 and telling them about Jessica's powerful campaign is how we're going to win this race. And we all have to help in order to keep up with Henry Cuellar’s incumbent status and deep pockets.
So whether it's your first time ever phone banking or you're a phone banking expert, we need you there! You’ll be supported every step of the way, and we'll have training for first time callers (or anyone who wants a refresher!) at the start of every phone bank.
