November 29, 2021
John --
We hope you had a joyful and safe
Thanksgiving surrounded by loved ones. This year, we are grateful for
our friends and supporters who comprise the lifeblood of the
conservative movement and keep our message strong from cycle to
cycle.
As we near the end of 2021, things
are not slowing down at the Republican Party of Wisconsin. We are
continuing to mobilize grassroots supporters ahead of our crucial
elections in 2022 and call out Democrats for their failures that are
crushing Wisconsin businesses and families alike.
You can read more about what we’re
focusing on here at the WisGOP below, and as always, you can get
involved by signing up at our website here.
- Team WisGOP
The Republican Party of Wisconsin
stands with the Waukesha community in light of last week’s tragic
attack on participants in their annual Christmas parade. We are
praying for the victims and their families, and we support calls to
ensure that justice is served on the attacker who caused destruction
to countless lives. If you would like to support the community,
consider giving to the Waukesha Community Fund -- a joint effort
between United Way and the Waukesha County Community Foundation that
will support families impacted by the tragedy -- on their website
here.
Wisconsin families are struggling
with the impact of inflation this holiday season. From the grocery
store to the pump, rising prices are impacting Wisconsinites’ ability
to provide for their families -- yet Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and
Democrats’ Build Back Broke agenda will pump trillions of dollars of
wasteful spending into the economy. While Wisconsinites are already
struggling, Democrats voted for hundreds of billions of dollars in
additional debt, higher taxes for business, an open borders agenda,
taxes on energy, and more. Democrats’ priorities are clear -- they
will side with the far-left and special interests rather than everyday
Americans. Next November, voters will remember Democrats' lies and
their reckless tax-and-spend agenda. Then they'll send Republican
leaders to Congress to fight for them.

The tragedy in Waukesha has cast a
spotlight on soft-on-crime policies that have kept violent criminals
on the streets. The tragedy in Waukesha never should have been allowed
to happen. We cannot allow violent criminals to threaten our
communities. Read about the issue, including the Waukesha attacker’s
vast criminal record, in Wisconsin Right Now here.
The deadline for county party
officials to submit poll workers is TOMORROW, November 30th! Serving
as a poll worker is the most effective way to ensure the integrity of
elections in your community. Poll workers are trained and paid by
their local municipalities to register voters, issue ballots on
election day, monitor voting equipment, and more. If you have not
signed up already, make sure to sign up to serve as a poll worker on
our website here.
Republicans are fighting back
against trickle-down critical race theory in the University of
Wisconsin system. Earlier this month, Assembly Speaker Robin Vos sent
a letter to UW-Madison Chancellor Rebecca Blank demanding answers
after news emerged that the school is requiring students to take a
class that forces them to agree that whiteness means privilege. Read
more about it in the Wisconsin State Journal here, or
read the full letter on Speaker Vos’ Twitter here.

In Case You Missed
It…
The City of Madison announced a vaccine mandate for poll workers —
just two weeks before the November 30th deadline for county party
officials to submit poll worker names ahead of 2022 elections. The
City of Madison’s decision to unilaterally impose new requirements is
a departure from our election laws and a dangerous slippery slope, and
it should sound alarms for any Wisconsinite concerned about election
integrity and fairness in our democratic process.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Mandela Barnes is
enlisting support from a convicted bank fraudster to bankroll his
campaign. The host of Barnes’ upcoming fundraiser is the liberal group
Democracy Partners led by co-founder Robert Creamer, who was
previously convicted for a check-kiting scheme. Meanwhile, Democracy
Partners staff were caught admitting to inciting violence at
Republican campaign events — causing Creamer to resign in disgrace
from his position at Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.
