On Wednesday, I will stand before the U.S. Supreme Court to defend the right to abortion in our case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. This case challenges Mississippi's ban on abortion after just 15 weeks of pregnancy and is a direct threat to Roe v. Wade.

This is our fourth time in six years defending abortion rights before the U.S. Supreme Court. But this time is different.

The Mississippi ban unquestionably violates nearly half a century of Supreme Court precedent under Roe. The state made its intentions abundantly clear when, in its opening brief in this case, it repeatedly and explicitly asked that the Court overturn Roe v. Wade.

Our oral argument next Wednesday looms large, but it's not the only case we're actively litigating right now. We're working on more than 30 cases in states across the U.S. and that number continues to grow.

We cannot waver in our mission to ensure everyone can exercise the fundamental right to control their own bodies and futures.
