Good Evening, Comrade!

Your recently endorsed priority campaign for Political Education has been moving full steam ahead! We have some exciting events that you may have already seen shared on social media.

Our very first Political Education event will be held tomorrow, November 30th, at 8p! Join us for our "What is a Strike?" event to learn how you can stand in solidarity with striking workers and what this moment means to the labor movement and socialists.

We will also have our first official book club discussion on Thursday, December 9th at 7p. We will be reading Part 1 of Engels - "Socialism: Utopian & Scientific" (you can find a free copy here). We are honored to have our discussions led by Dr. Rick Feinberg, a fellow Akron DSA member and Professor Emeritus of Anthropology Kent State University. Please join us if you can.

An update for our Political Education Committee: Our next meeting will be held virtually on Sunday, December 12th at 6p. You can find more details on Slack.
