Sharpen your focus on the strategies and partnerships that will be
needed to build support for the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend
Act in 2020! Our goal is to inspire, inform, connect, and collaborate
across boundaries (state and district, as well as political and social)
and with other organizations in our region who are concerned about the
urgent need for climate action. Working together, we will find powerful
lenses to help our Mid-Atlantic members of Congress clearly see how our
climate solution will benefit their constituents. New volunteers will
have the opportunity to attend an introductory Climate Advocate Training
Workshop, while experienced CCLers will hone their skills and broaden
their reach in order to build even more political will for national
climate legislation. All attendees, both new and experienced, can look
forward to:

Breakout workshops covering key issues of concern to our members of
Congress, including agriculture, national security, mental health, and
more.

Updates on the progress of our bill and its prospects for 2020 by CCL
Vice Presidents Madeleine Para and Daniel Richter

Interactions with important regional allies in the fight against climate
change, including the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) and the
Audubon Society.

Engaging and envisioning our shared natural heritage and our common
future together through the arts.
