John,
With time running out before our $125,000 Giving Tuesday match opportunity expires, we’re still falling dangerously short of our goal. So far, 972 grassroots activists have stepped up to have their gift matched and help save lives — can I count on you to join them?
We have never stopped fighting for life-saving reform — and we certainly can’t stop now. Not when lawmakers like Mitch McConnell are willfully putting lives at stake with their inaction. Not when the NRA is fighting even harder to push their "guns everywhere" agenda. Every dollar you give today will be doubled to go directly toward funding our critical work. We cannot make meaningful change in our country without you in this fight with us.
Brady is a grassroots organization, meaning we're building a movement of survivors and allies. We rely on action from gun safety activists just like you, John — and I know you’re ready to keep fighting. So please, John, will you give $5 or more before our Giving Tuesday match expires and have every dollar go twice as far to prevent gun violence and save lives?

This request is personal for me. My mother was shot and killed by a gunman just for opening her own front door. Gun violence changed my family forever. Giving Tuesday is bittersweet for me, because it’s a day when I am actively fighting to keep anyone else from feeling the pain and loss I do — but it comes on the heels of Thanksgiving where I don't get to enjoy my mom's cooking, sit next to her at the table, or see her play with her grandchildren.

It's extremely difficult, but I'm not alone. Many of us here at Brady are survivors — so we know exactly what's at stake when we ask you to help us hit this goal. Ensuring we can continue to lead the fight for common-sense change is the only way we can make progress in preventing gun violence, and we can't do that if we fail to raise the funds we need to power our movement forward.

Please: Donate before our can't-miss deadline and your Giving Tuesday gift will go twice as far in helping Brady prevent gun violence across the country. We're counting on you to take advantage of this match opportunity before it's too late — and you've never let us down before.

Thank you for believing in our work and our ability to make change. It means so much to me.
